Hours: Monday – Friday (08:30am – 12:30pm)
Location: Milton Keynes
Salary Range: £24,000 (Full Time Equivalent)

Position Overview:
To be the first point of contact for visitors and callers to Mirus and to portray Mirus in a manner in keeping with the Mirus values. To ensure smooth running of the office in terms of office and buildings management and health and safety.
Responsibilities:
Ensuring the smooth running of the Mirus office. Activities may include:
Day to day:
- Greeting visitors to the Mirus office and getting them drinks as they require
- Opening blinds, filling up the drinks fridge, tea & coffee jars, cleaning the coffee machine, opening & distributing post.
- Generally ensuring the office looks neat and tidy including the kitchen area (ensuring dishwasher is put on, bins are emptied when full, hand towels are refilled when empty)
Security:
- Allocating keys and alarm fobs for the Mirus office and maintaining a list of keyholders, always ensuring some spare keys are available
- Net2 Door Fob System – adding and removing users, running door entry reports for team leaders
- Carrying out monthly checks to ensure all visitor fobs are accounted for and not lost, ensuring the office key holder list is upto date, carrying out monthly system user reports to ensure no leavers have access
- Managing the access control system and the alarm system
- Manage the Health and Safety activities of Mirus and ensure compliance
- Manage the fire safety activities of Mirus
- Ensuring all meeting rooms are tidy after meetings have occurred
Health & Safety:
- Taking ownership of the online accident book
- Carrying out hazard spotting check monthly
- Carrying out emegency light test monthly
- Various annual renewals such as legionella water testing, emergency light drain downs, PAT testing etc. to be arranged
Adhoc Tasks:
- Assisting our Compliance team with internal and external audits
- Dealing with building issues, liaising with the landlord where necessary
- New starter inductions: meet & greet, office tour and fire evacuation procedure
- Ordering additional stock for drinks fridge, coffee machine, any office supplies
- Ordering sandwiches for lunch meetings as required
- Liaising with the office plant company (currently Bumble Bees) to ensure the green plants in the office are looked after and look healthy
- Keep track of stock of staff uniforms and propose new orders for approval when necessary
- Perform minor servicing and repairs to coffee machines, doors, windows and the building if a contractor is not required.
- Carry out various Word and Excel tasks related to the smooth running of the business
Undertake all other reasonable requests.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Telephony based customer service experience
- Customer facing customer service experience
- Experience of working in a fast paced office
- Competent in the use of the MS Office suite and experience of using CRM
- Proactive, practical approach to work
- Can do attitude
- Able to manage own workload and priorities.
- Able to work both within a team and using own initiative.
- Ability to work in an environment with frequently changing priorities
